1. Product Description
MonacoEZcolor, the entry-level color management solution for the creative community, provides a comprehensive profiling system at an affordable price. With its wizard-like interface, MonacoEZcolor gives creative professionals the ability to create high quality ICC profiles for scanners, monitors, and printers. MonacoEZcolor also provides a
powerful profile editor for an even greater level of color control. The key feature in this version of the software is integration of the MonacoOPTIX colorimeter for LCD and CRT calibration and profiling.

2. New Features
Introduction of the MonacoOPTIX Colorimeter
•  Monaco is proud to introduce the MonacoOPTIX colorimeter for
   calibrating LCD and CRT displays. MonacoOPTIX provides users
   with a combination of accuracy and value unmatched by any device
   on the market.

CRT and LCD Monitor Profiling
•  MonacoEZcolor 2.5 seamlessly integrates the MonacoOPTIX
   colorimeter into its wizard-like interface. For those users who have    not yet made the move to LCD technology and would like to
   continue using their MonacoSENSOR, MonacoEZcolor 2.5 continues
   to support the original MonacoSENSOR (for CRT profiling only.)

Improved Profile Quality
•  MonacoEZcolor 2.5 has improved profile quality over previous
   versions for all types of profiles; monitor, scanner, and printer.
   MonacoEZcolor uses the same internal profile creation engines as
   Monaco’s top of the line product, MonacoPROFILER, ensuring a level
   of quality unmatched in the desktop color management market.

Hardware Assisted Brightness and Contrast Adjustment
•  MonacoEZcolor 2.5 now has the ability to use the MonacoSENSOR
   or MonacoOPTIX colorimeter to set the display's ideal brightness
   and contrast before profiling, providing the widest possible gamut    for your monitor.

Automatic Target Cropping
•  MonacoEZcolor 2.5 uses advanced target recognition software to
   examine the IT8 and printer targets, locate and place the crop
   marks, and determine if the scan is acceptable for profiling; all
   without any user intervention. This makes profile creation, already
   a snap with previous versions of MonacoEZcolor, even easier.
   Monaco ColorWorks for OS X
•  Monaco ColorWorks, an application that gives users the ability to    accurately preview and print their images using the profiles they    create in MonacoEZcolor, has been updated to run native on Mac    OS 10.1.4 and later.
