Content:
Graphic Art Fundamentals – Colour theory, vision theory, printing processes, scanning, capturing images, UCR, GCR, moire´, colour correction and optimisation.

Digital Processing – Electronic images – Vector and Bitmap, file formats, compression, processing applications, web graphics.

Output Fundamentals – Fonts, postscript, PDF/X Standards, pre-flighting, digital screening processes, imposition, RIP (Raster Image Processing), paper and ink, post- press treatments.

Digital Colour Management – Use of spectrophotometers, building ICC profiles for scanners, monitors and output devises like proofers, printers, presses, etc., Editing ICC profiles, use of profiles in applications, ICC workflows, proofing, soft proofing, hard proofing, remote proofing, modern RGB workflow, process control, advantages of CMS and ROI.

Eligibility:
Digiscape's diploma in Digital prepress or Graphics editing or diploma/degree in printing or minimum one year work experience in prepress/printing/publishing industry.
